Samantha Schell

Samantha has been training over 10 years in multiple disciplines, competing in Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing, combat sambo, & MMA. She teaches both Jiu Jitsu and striking classes, and is Rubao Carioca’s first female black belt. She is exceptionally experienced in the art of weight cutting & nutrition. After winning multiple title belts in the 115lb (strawweight) and 105lb (atomweight divisions), Samantha turned pro in 2020, even winning her match in the atomweight tournament for the largest female MMA promotion in the states, Invicta FC. Professor Sam is a certified instructor to teach through IBJJF, USBJJF, & USFBJJ, & holds degrees in Criminology & Psychology from Florida State University. Professor Sam competes most regularly in BJJ winning multiple Brazilian Jiu Jitsu superfights, and placing on the podium at many major IBJJF tournaments such as Pans, Master’s Worlds, and no gi Pans.
