John Schell

Professor John is a multi-time IBJJF gold medal accolade winner, and has placed in several large competitions, including winning Master’s Worlds at brown belt in 2017 in a 30+ person bracket, and becoming one of the top 3 competitors in the world for his ranking. He has several amateur MMA fights, winning one by knockout. John is a certified instructor to teach through IBJJF, USBJJF, & USFBJJ. John competes constantly, whether it be large scale ranked competitions, podiuming at major nationally ranked events, or professional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu superfights, and attends all of his students competitions in order to coach. He teaches the majority of Jiu Jitsu classes at Schell Shock.
